In July of this year, NSTAR got me a new job as a Field Service Technician in CNC Machining. It only took 2 months from the first time I heard of NSTAR for me to start my new position here in New Hampshire.
I worked with Wiley Dunn, and he did a wonderful job at keeping me informed during the process. He was professional and I felt very comfortable having Wiley as a liaison between myself and my new employer.
I thoroughly enjoy my new job, and it is absolutely what I was looking for. Without NSTAR, I never would have found it.
If I was to ever be in the market again, I would definitely go to NSTAR first. They matched me up with the right job and company. Thank you NSTAR, and thank you Wiley!

Thanks to NSTAR, I began my new position as a Customer Service Engineer with a leading Analytical Instrumentation company in Louisville, Kentucky in February 2008. I began working with Wiley Dunn at NSTAR in January, and within a little over a month I was working in my new job.
I have almost 18 years experience in avionics, calibration, and semiconductors, but I don't think I would have gotten in front of this company if it weren't for NSTAR.
NSTAR was great - very easy and accommodating. I have previously worked with one other staffing/placement firm and NSTAR is much better. I would recommend NSTAR's services to anyone in need of a new technical job.

I first learned about NSTAR from a friend who was working with them, and decided to contact them myself. I had over 7 years experience as an Engineering Equipment Technician, and I was looking for a position in Field Service in which to apply my skills of engineering, setup, and maintenance of electro/mechanical equipment.
In January of 2008, NSTAR contacted me about a Field Service Engineer position in the Dallas area, near where I live. I mainly worked with Robert Harding through the recruiting and interviewing process. It was a wonderful and easy experience. Robert kept in touch with me, and gave me updates along the way. I felt very comfortable working with NSTAR.
In March 2008 I began my new position in Dallas as a Field Service Engineer in the Web Gauging industry, for a company who offers a complete range of high-end analytical instruments as well as laboratory equipment, software, services, consumables and reagents to enable integrated laboratory workflow solutions. This is a new industry for me, but the skills are very translatable and they were willing to train me on the portions of my job I had no experience with.
Since we spend the majority of our lives in the workplace, I believe work should be a pleasant experience. I am thankful to NSTAR that they helped me find this position in Dallas. I enjoy what I'm doing, I make good money, and I get to continue to expand my experience as a Field Service Engineer.

I applied to an NSTAR ad for a position with a local company in Wisconsin. Robert Harding, an Account Executive at NSTAR, called me.
Robert was very professional and unlike other recruiters I have worked with, he did not pressure me into something I did not want or was not looking for. In addition, he was very up front and very honest from the beginning of our partnership. We closed our deal in less then a week.
Working with other agencies, I could never get honest answers and never felt the one-on-one devotion from my past recruiters. I felt like to them, I was just a number or another commission. NSTAR was different. From the initial phone call to the permanent career placement, everyone treated me as a valued individual and we worked together towards a mutual goal.
My new position as a Field Service Technician in the Food Processing and Packaging industry is directly in line with my experience. However, it has completely exceeded my expectations! NSTAR has been the most professional organization I have had the privilege to work with, and hats off to Robert Harding for offering me the best agency experience I have ever had. NSTAR is far above the competition. Thank you for helping me find my "niche!"

I am currently employed as a Field Engineer with an Analytical Instrumentation company in Chicago, Illinois. Thanks to NSTAR, I was offered this job in February of 2008.
I sent my resume to NSTAR at the end of 2007, and was excited to discuss this Field Engineer position with Wiley Dunn in December. Wiley was my main contact at NSTAR, and made the entire process smooth and easy. I felt comfortable with NSTAR representing me to their client.
I enjoy my new position in Chicago, and although it was not exactly what I had envisioned for myself, without NSTAR I never would have found it. Thanks to NSTAR for expanding my horizons.

When NSTAR contacted me, I was looking for a new position with a schedule that would allow me to continue my education, which has always been a huge goal for me. So when NSTAR called me to discuss my maintenance experience, and a possible position 15 minutes from my home, I was very excited.
I was amazed at how quickly the process moved. I spoke with Matt Farriba on a Tuesday, and by Friday, I was an NSTAR employee! It was great to work with him. Matt was knowledgeable, understanding, and continues to be very helpful.
I am working as an Electro-Mechanical Technician in Toledo, Ohio, troubleshooting and maintaining Self-Guided Vehicles, which is very enjoyable and rewarding. Although it is not the position I was necessarily looking for when I began my search for a new career, I saw an opportunity to learn a new skill, while being afforded a chance to go back to school.
At first, I was apprehensive about accepting a temp-to-hire position, since I have never worked on contract before. But, I have a 6-month contract, which will be followed by a permanent placement with NSTAR's client, so it is basically just a 180-day probationary period. After my first three months with NSTAR, I can honestly say that they have delivered and exceeded at everything they promised. Everyone I have talked to at NSTAR has been very friendly and helpful. The job transition was very easy, and I look forward to earning a permanent position here in Toledo!

After 15 years in the semicon industry, I had been through one downsize, and one plant shut-down. Without a job, I decided to redirect my focus and earn an ASET degree. As my education was nearing completion, I began preparing for a new career search. The last position I held was as a Maintenance Technician, and I had not touched a tool in the two years that I was in school.
After NSTAR contacted me, I did some research on their company, and decided to call them back. I am very happy I did! I spoke with several NSTAR employees, but Tim was my main contact at NSTAR. He was very prompt about answering my questions and concerns.
In a span of two-and-a-half months, NSTAR employees spoke with me about several positions that fit my criteria. I got to choose which opportunities I was interested in, and thanks to NSTAR, after a few interviews, I received an offer for a Field Service Engineer position with a major OEM, based out of Boise, ID.
It was great to be able to receive a job as an Engineer after being out of the semicon loop for two years, with only Maintenance Technician experience. NSTAR made my transition back into the industry very easy. Thanks for everything!

I currently work in the telecommunications industry. I have been working in this industry for the past three years. I found out about NSTAR through a job board. The position that I now hold is the type of job I truly wanted.
Prior to my current position, I worked with start-up companies. I wanted to gain experience with a medium-to-high volume production company, and that is what I got through NSTAR.
I worked with Paul, whom I could tell from the start was looking out for my best interests. He was helpful during all phases of the process, from the initial phone screening through offer acceptance. Thank you so much for all your effort!
